Buy Regular and Feminized Cannabis Seeds
Buy regular cannabis seeds to grow your own cannabis. Regular cannabis seeds aren’t technically “regular” cannabis plants; they’re just marijuana seedlings that haven’t been genetically modified or chemically altered in any way whatsoever. Still, they re create about half male and half female cannabis plants.
Although feminized cannabis seeds are now available, many reputable breeders still offer regular seeds. Why? Well, for starters, the purebred cannabis plants you see at a cannabis trade show or in magazines are often bred with a specific trait in mind. And that trait is height. Taller strains tend to be more potent than their shorter counterparts, allowing them to produce and maintain a higher density of THC (tethered to the brain’s receptors for the addictive pleasure compound) in their leaves and stems.
If you were looking for potent weed seeds to grow, then feminized cannabis seeds aren’t going to cut it. And that brings us to another important factor when it comes to growing cannabis. Strength is a relative thing. Some strains are just naturally more potent than others, meaning that some people may have to go out of their way to find potent strains to grow – and that’s before they learn about which hybrid strains are best suited to them.
There are three types of cannabis plants: male, female and hybrid. All three varieties come from the same parent plant, but they grow differently due to differences in the gender of the plant. Male plants are just that – male. Female plants, on the other hand, contain a female counterpart called the mother plant.
When it comes to buying cannabis seeds, the two types of plants are separated because the traits of each can be used to breed additional strains. For example, a particular mother plant can be sired by another one and produce crops that are twice as potent. In order to get these additional genetics, you’ll need to buy seeds from two different parents. This is the reason why it’s important to buy only from licensed breeders – the pollen from illegal strains could cause adverse effects with your plant.
One particular hybrid strain is the indica strain. These plants are called because they’re named after their resemblance to a hybrid ball or bell. Indica plants produce long and dark hairs, which resemble the coloration of buds found in pot herb. Many refer to this type of marijuana as having a “flowery” taste, unlike other varieties, which tend to taste bitter. Some examples of sativa strains include Diesel and Nepalese Kush.
If you’d rather skip the hassles of breeding, you can purchase feminized cannabis seeds instead. These aren’t as common, but many stores do sell them. With feminized seeds, you’ll need to buy regular marijuana seeds from a reputable dealer, because some sellers may claim to sell them but actually end up selling feminized seeds instead. You’ll also have to be careful about many of the sales flyers you find online, as many products claiming to offer feminized cannabis seeds don’t live up to their billing. Make sure that any seed packages look legitimate, or else you could end up buying something that could turn out to be a counterfeit.
Whether you choose to buy regular cannabis seeds or feminized seeds, you should ensure that you buy them from a reputable dealer. While there are many good options for retailers of both types of product, not all dealers are created equally. It’s best to shop with those who’ve been in business for a while, offer a reliable return/replacement policy, and provide excellent customer service. A reputable retailer will also offer advice about which types of plants are the right choice for your purposes, how much to plant, and other useful tips that will help you grow better indoor buds.
