The Fun in Playing BananabubbleGum Strain

This is the BANANA BUBBLY GUM from BANANA DOT COM. I am not sure about you, but I do not see much appeal in this game. The concept is very poor, the concept is bad. And the graphics are not good. Let me tell you what I think of it:

Okay, first things first. There are many games on here that are played the same way, like, for example, Scrabble. Well, Scrabble also has its fair share of fans, and the game can be a lot of fun to play. But when it comes to BANANA BUBBLY GUM, you cannot even start playing it without getting upset and frustrated. For starters, there are way too many levels, and they are all pretty much the same.

The controls for this game are very bad. There are no buttons. Everything has to be done with a QWERTY keyboard. It makes it way more complicated than the original game, even though, it still is not as complicated as Scrabble, and you can get over that really quick.

Another thing that makes the game not so good is the level of competition. You see, at the beginning of the game, you do not have any opponents. This is just like the first level of Scrabble where you do not have any opponents and the only thing that matters is making the first word, or the first number.

The first level of Bananabublegum Strain is not any better, since the words and numbers are all over the place. They are all over the place so much that I started to wonder if perhaps the creators of the game were trying to teach me a lesson in grammar. After all, how hard could it be? In the next level, things get even worse. You are forced to use words from the dictionary, and none of them actually make any sense.

Some words are just simply not meant to be used in a sentence. There are words that literally mean the opposite of what they imply, as in “It’s warm in here”. Some words are just used so much that they become over used, and a whole new set of words are needed just to describe exactly what a certain action is. For example, one word can be used to mean jumping, and then another word can be used to mean falling down. There is no rhyme nor reason to it.

However, there are enough words in Bananabubblegum Strain to give it its due as a word game. The point of the game is to get your words down by writing as many words as possible, and then whittling them down until there are just a few left. The word “banana” for example, can be used to describe anything, from the banana that you eat to the fruit itself. The only limitation to what can be used is your imagination. As long as you can come up with something appropriate, you have won.

To play, all you do is pick out words from a hat, and then place them on a board that is laid on the floor. You then take turns whittling them down with a pencil and see how many words you can get through in the time allowed. Once you are through with your first try, you will be told how well you are doing and will get points based on your word completion percentage. This is why Bananabug is so fun – because not only does it get you off your feet, but it also gets you points for having the funniest words possible.
