Autoflowering Seeds and Feminized Seeds
Regular marijuana seeds are among the most powerful, purest strains available on the market and produce about half male and half female offspring. Despite the recent increase in specially bred, specifically hybrid female marijuana seeds, the popularity of regular marijuana seeds still has not faded away. Many people believe that marijuana is a gateway drug and that using regular marijuana seeds will lead to abuse and addiction. The fact is, however, that even though marijuana is a potent plant, it can be grown by almost anyone, even those who may have a history of drug use or criminal activity in their past.
Marijuana seeds are usually feminized. This means that instead of being the stereotypical “mature” marijuana plant, they have been treated with feminization so that they do not go into the female state that they normally inhabit when growing outdoors. The most popular and common strain is what is known as sativa seeds. Sativa is an aromatic variety of marijuana that is very easy to grow because it doesn’t require much attention. It is a cross between thehybrid and regular weed seeds that typically come from high altitude climates. The name comes from its ability to grow three times faster than normal. This speedy growth is intended to help keep the plants flowering at an amazing rate, which means the plants will be producing buds at a rapid rate.
