The 10 Best All-Time Seeds and Breeder Baskets

Limited Edition Seeds. Have you ever been jealous of those who have all the best pollen with limited edition seeds? Well, it’s your lucky day to be the envy of other collectors! With limited edition seeds (female plants), it’s all about how you care for the plant. You get to select only the best flowers and mix them together to form limited edition bouquets. Limited edition seeds are popular because they usually have a more feminine fragrance than regular seeds, while still maintaining the original characteristics of the plant.

Many reasons exist for selecting limited edition seeds. Usually breeders select only one type of flower to create limited edition seeds. For instance, a breeder may decide to create the “Lily of the Valley”, “Lily of the Nile”, “Star of David”, or “Crown of Thorns”. These are all known as “limited edition flowers”, each having its own distinct traits.

Creating limited edition seeds can take many forms. The most common way is to select one type of flower, such as the “Sally Moragne”, “Limited Edition Citron”, “Limited Edition Satin Cherry”, “Limited Edition White Peony”, or “Limited Edition Zinnia”. Creating these bouquets require many hours of research and painstaking detail work. Most feminized strains contain the same genes; however, the combination of flower types differs between them, producing an entirely unique limited edition flowers.

One of the best places to purchase seeds is through seed banks. Seed banks are companies or individuals that purchase and store feminized plants from other breeders and collectors. Typically, these banks will use the autoflowering method. This method involves using the parent plant to formative cells in order to produce the desired trait(s) in the end result.

Autoflowering genetics are extremely hardy and require little care after they’re planted. Some breeds of cannabis seeds may even retain a single parental trait and be very difficult to get rid of once they’re mixed with another parent. Many times, these autoflowering genetics can even survive the first year of cultivation. However, the chance of them surviving a second year is minimal.

Limited Edition Hybrid Shapes. Limited edition hybrid strains are created by combining two parents of the same plant or flower-family but have a different set of characteristics compared to their parents. These strains are said to exhibit characteristics unique to their parent plant, but have limited flowering time compared to their parents. For example, an indica strain that starts out growing tall and bushy will eventually become bushier and blossom later, instead of earlier. Other traits that are unique to these strains are larger blooms, darker colors, and more compact plant structures.

Limited Edition Frostbite. Limited edition seeds are bred specifically to control the THC level in the plant. THC is one of the most important factors when determining the quality and intensity of a strain. If the THC level of the plant is too high, it’s not uncommon for buds to form too large, and eventually go out before they’ve had a chance to form properly.

Limited Edition Super Skunk. Limited edition super skunk cannabis is designed to get females high as soon as possible. With its strong flavor, the effect is comparable to that of regular seeds, but because it’s made specifically for females, this variety is much more intense than its regular seeds counterparts. It also produces more resin during flowering.

Limited Edition Citron. This particular variety is intended to produce feminized buds. Unlike other feminized cannabis strains, Citron has only been bred with male plants in order to make it feminized. It’s actually a cross between two Indica strains and has minimal qualities of the good male varieties. The result is a highly feminized plant that produce large amounts of resin but lacks the full potency of regular seeds.

Limited Edition Autoflowering Bubbles. This particular variety of autoflowering is a cross between Bubbles and Super Skunk. Unlike the latter, it’s been specially bred to produce large amounts of resin with very low levels of THC, making it a highly potent, but highly feminine type of autoflowering. The resulting product is extremely high-quality, with a thick, heavy head. Autoflowering bubbles can be grown indoors and produces heavy resin, but do not have the same amount of THC as feminized strains and will also produce a lot more resin than feminized plants.

Limited Edition Indica. Limited Edition Indica is a cross between two Indica strains, allowing growers to produce high quality, full-bodied buds. These plants are known for their strong aroma, sweet taste, and overall potency. They’re ideal for indoor growing, due to their slow flowering time frame and overall fragility.
