Crossbreeding With Regular cannabis Seeds

Breeding is just another way of using the power of natural evolution to produce different varieties of desirable plants and flowers. You can create your own small garden, greenhouse or a small production unit to grow your favourite cannabis plants indoors. Creating small but compact growing rooms will allow you to keep your flowering area neat and tidy, which will also improve your indoor living space.
If you choose to crossbreed your own plants, you must take special care. Crossbreeding can be dangerous and you should only do it if you are a professional grower with a good knowledge of how plants work and the genetics that go along with it. Crossbreeding can produce amazing results but the nature of the outcome will not be as 100% pure as if you started with your own regular cannabis seeds which are completely natural and pure. If you are going to crossbreed then you have two options. First, you can create a new plant and then propagate by extracting the pollen from one of the male plants and putting it into the female plant. This can be a difficult task though. Another method used to crossbreed cannabis seeds is by using the pollen of a different variety or even one of the plant‘s relatives like the cannabis plant known as cannabis sativa. By doing this you will end up with plants that have very little or no resemblance to the parent plant at all. These plants will grow very well and can be suitable for indoor growing. However, these plants won’t flower when the cannabis seeds used in the originalcrossbreeding are in flowering form. However, they will still grow very well until just before they flower if you get their pollen and start them early.
The third method used to crossbreed cannabis plants is to use female plants that are already in flowering form and grow a mixture of the regular cannabis seeds with the feminized seeds. By doing so you end up with plants that are full of regular cannabis seeds but have one or two additional chromosomes from the male plant. By preparing the female plants correctly you can even get some plants that are full of the regular chromosomes but have one chromosome from a completely feminized plant. This is much easier to do than you would imagine. It really just requires patience and care to achieve this result.
The fourth way to crossbreed cannabis is also fairly recent developments. This involves growing marijuana from one female plant that has been feminized with the aid of a technique called autofloring seeds. Autofloring basically means that the females with the feminization gene are artificially inbred so that they produce the exact amount of the trait that is desired. By growing a selection of feminized plants in a large enough area it is possible to grow strains that contain the desirable trait without having to make any efforts towards adaptation. The results are that with a simple selection of plants you end up with marijuana with all of the desirable characteristics.
