BANANA BUBBLEGUM STRAITS is an awesome word game for preschoolers! We all know what Bananabeposithe is, but have you heard of BANANA BUBBLEGUM STRAITS? It’s a board game that’s just as fun to play as the traditional Scrabble game, but you can play it with your children! You can teach your kids how to play the game and spend some quality time together while playing.
If you’re like me, your children have probably already been begging you to get them some copies of BANANA BUMBLEGUM, but you have been hesitant. BANANA BUMBLEGUM is a word game similar to Scrabble, but with a twist! When you play BANANA BUMBLEGUM, instead of looking at the letters on the board, you check to see if you have the correct word – and then you draw a BANANA in the shape of the word on the screen!
Now, I know you’re probably thinking, what’s the big deal? Why would my kids want to play a word game that doesn’t involve words? Well, let me tell you why. Bananas, although they are related to fruits, are also considered to be “cool words”. Being cool words makes bananas appealing to kids because they can relate themselves to these sweet, juicy morsels. And kids love when they win a game of BANANA BUMBLEGUM because they get to keep the banana they drew!
The next time you play BANANA BUMBLEGUM, your kids will enjoy picking out words that may seem common to them (like “banana” and “bead”). But then, they will have a great time seeing words like “hippo” and “zucchini” – which they may not have used before in their daily lives! Another fun fact is that when kids play the BANANA BUMBLEGUM game, they have to name the fruit they have eaten after the word they associate with it. So if your child eats grapes, the fruit they named in their BANANA BUMBLEGUM game would be grapes.
The way this game works is quite simple, actually. You set up three rows of letters on the board and children must place letters onto the corresponding space on the board in pairs – A B C and D for example. Then, as the kids draw letters from the bowl on their turn, the letters fall one by one into their respective spaces. This creates a BANANA pattern as the letters fall.
As the names of the letters are called out, children must guess whether the letter they have drawn comes from a picture, an animal or a person. For instance, “Aries” is the first letter of the game, followed by an “A”. The letters of the game then continue in the same way – only the order is different. Each space on the board represents a single word. So, when you see “B”, it’s the word BANANA.
After a few turns, it will become clear which words are the closest to the ones you have given them. The words that have letters in the same positions, or even close to it, are called the BANANA words. When the time is right, the kids will call out these words to take their prize. However, to make the game more fun, they can also try to guess the words that will come next. The best way to do this is by playing the BANANA strain with a mix of words that you’ve had in your head but never put into words.
To keep the excitement going, you can even give kids prizes based on the amount of words they are able to guess. Don’t forget to stop by every once in a while to give your child a prize! It keeps them interested and helps them pass the time. There are a lot of kids who play this game because it’s so easy. It’s a great way to teach your kids to be creative.
