Regular marijuana seeds, cultivated and crossbred from a male and females only parent, can produce female or male plants and are some of nature’s purest, strongest genetics on the planet. When crossbred with other plants, it creates new “genetic combinations” and often creates new strains of weed that are much more powerful and addictive than their parents. Some of these strains have created hybrid varieties which are extremely rare and require an intensive process to achieve in cultivation. The crossbreeding is also responsible for the creation of specific characteristics like shorter flowering times, high sugar tolerance, and higher THC levels. Some people have reported experiencing the effects of regular marijuana seeds several hours after ingesting them.
There are two primary categories of cannabis seeds: feminized and non Feminized. A marijuana seed which is feminized will create a plant that will grow towards the same shape as its counterpart, but will still retain all of its genetic properties and individual personality. In contrast, a non-Feminized cannabis seed will retain all of its individual personality and traits, but will still grow towards a different shape. These differences create two completely distinct categories of cannabis seeds. Both of these types of seed are extremely rare and very potent, and are cultivated and crossbreeds throughout the world by specialized breeders who take pride in their selection.
There are numerous differences between feminized and non Feminized cannabis seeds, including actual differences in the chromosomes from individual plants! Most commonly known among marijuana enthusiasts and breeders is that feminized seeds retain almost all of their mother plant‘s qualities and traits, including high CBD levels, small blooms, low smoke content, low THC levels, and low resveratrol content. This means that they are extremely potent. In comparison, non-Feminized cannabis strains retain almost none of their parents’ genetics, and so the result is a plant that looks, feels, behaves and feels like its mother plant… but is nowhere near as strong or unique!
Some plants produce what are known as “PAIRS”, or Parent-offspring Repositories. Parent-offspring repositories are cells which, when merged with other cells from a plant, allow for the possibility of new offspring to be created. When the female plants from a crossbreed are implanted into one another, this allows for the possibility of developing new, stronger plants with greater yields. This process happens even more frequently with male plants, because the male plants have already produced what are called “male flowers”, or stamens, which can be used to induce further reproduction in a female plant. These male flowers are then implanted into the female plants, where they can begin to develop new male plants which can continue the cycle once again!
Other characteristics that separate regular marijuana seeds from un-sexed cannabis plants include smaller blooms, and seeds that contain two sets of chromosomes. Un-sexed seeds are generally small in size and have one set of chromosomes; these are not capable of producing new plants. Some un-sexed marijuana seeds have only one set of chromosomes, while others have two sets – this is what makes them rarer and therefore more sought after. Some un-sexed seeds will even grow in other types of climates and conditions, but these are very hard to find.
Some of the traits that distinguish regular seeds from un-sexed ones are physical in nature. For example, regular marijuana seeds do not grow well in environments where the temperature is extremely cold, or where the growing season is limited to only a few weeks each year. On the other hand, un-sexed cannabis plants are best cultivated where the weather is warm and abundant, and the growing season is more than a few weeks long. This allows for development of new plants each year – something that Regular and Un-sexed Marijuana Seeds lack.
Some people prefer the look and taste of Un-sexed Marijuana Seeds over their Regular counterparts because they tend to be smaller in size, which some consider to be easier to handle. They also tend to be smaller overall in weight, because they have fewer seeds in them. However, it is important to note that some male weed seeds do grow bigger in size than their female counterparts – some experts believe that this is due to cross-pollination from male to female plants, which can result in larger plants and seeds overall.
In order for any marijuana plant to grow well, its environment must be just right, and when the plants are able to reproduce fairly easily, and on their own, without outside assistance, then the plant will thrive. When breeding plants for profit, it is best to select plants that will grow well individually, and with little interference from the males. When trying to grow un-sexed plants, or male marijuana seeds, it is best to get plants that produce approximately 50 seeds per plant, and then nurture them over a period of several years until the plants reach about one to two inches in height. These plants will then be ready to harvest.
