Limited Edition Seeds: feminized or cross-bred seeds from selected perennial herbaceous plants. The best way to describe feminized seeds is “cross-breeding a perennial with a shrub or vine”. In essence, the hybrid produces flowers that are in the form of a plant that is itself a cross between a shrub and a flowering plant. Many feminized seeds are highly productive. Some hybrid plants even produce flowers that are as good, if not better, than those produced by hybridizing a purebred. Some examples are Zinnias with wild bluebells, California poppy with pink and white stamens, and lavender with lemon yellow zinnias.
Limited Edition Herbs: these seeds are often sought after for their highly fertile pollen, which can be used in creating cross-pollinated hybrid seeds to produce an abundant harvest. In addition to having a highly productive pollen producing structure, many limited edition herbs also have the ability to create intense aromas within blooming buds. Some examples of this are lavender with lemon yellow zinnias, and California poppy with pink and white stamens.
Indica: These are “desirable” herbs in the sense that they can be propagated easily. Indica seeds will produce highly fertile blooms and stems. Indicas are extremely popular throughout Mexico, and tropical America. Some example strains are the Africanized Shasta Sativa, Black King’s Moringa, and Old World White Sativa. Some plants within the Indica category are well known for their extreme colors, such as purple blossom sweet orange sativa.
Sativa: Some of the most desired female plants for cannabis are the ones that are in the Sativa category. The best and most productive Sativa seeds are from the Himalayan Mountains. It takes approximately 45 55 days of flowering aprox. Some examples of Sativa strains are Purplebc, Blueberry Diesel, Russian dwarf and Egyptian Sativa.
Feminized: Feminized cannabis seeds are extremely hardy plants that do not need to go through a period of dormancy during which time they produce small dark flowers. The flower stems and leaves will be full of color and will appear very early in the flowering season. Some examples of Feminized seeds are Dragonfly feminized, Lemon Grass feminized and Dutchman’s Feminized. All feminized cannabis seeds will contain equal amounts of male and female plants. However, there should be a higher concentration of female plants.
X Orange: X orange cannabis seeds are extremely hardy plants and will grow in nearly all kinds of soils. X oranges will flower in the spring, while the leaves and stems grow in the summer. This breed is extremely popular and the majority of X oranges will flower in the autumn. These plants are typically used as cut crop for landscaping and the buds can sometimes be seen peeking out of the ground.
Limited Edition Hybrid: Limited Edition Hybrid cannabis seeds are rare and not readily available. They are usually created from true genetics with minimal outside crossbreeding. For example, some Limited Edition hybrid varieties may contain true genetics from Dioscorea and other sun loving plants. This crossbreeding causes the plants to produce flowers and fruits in the summer with limited flowering aprox. Examples of Limited Edition hybrid plants include Dragonfly feminized, Egyptian Sativa, Landscape feminized, Lemon Grass feminized, and Russian dwarf. All these varieties are high producing plants that don’t take up much space but excel at producing large amounts of resin.
Other Sativa Marijuana Seeds: One other form of high producing sativa plants are x oranges and a sativa. These are feminized strains and are very popular with indoor gardeners. Some examples of a dominantly feminized plants include Black Beauty, Black Medicago, Black Seed, and English Ivy. X orange and x sativa dominate marijuana in Mexico at this time.
