Sour Power cannabis seeds are a cross of two Sativa-dominant plants. Grown by: Horticultural Genetics Corporation. Sour Power is a high sativa dominant hybrid cannabis seed produced via crossbreeding the popular Cherry Pie with the much more powerful Tangie Girl.
Both Sativa-dominant and Indica-dominant plants are needed in order for full potency to occur. In order to crossbreed these two plants and produce a hybrid with complete power, extensive care is taken in germination and horticultural preparation. To create Sour Power Seeds we took an already great hybrid between the two strains, the Cherry Pie and Tangie Girl, and completely changed the female characteristics of the plants. We used our nation’s most powerful hybrid crossbreeder to assist in producing the perfect berries and crossed each one of the two strains with one another. We called these stars bud seeds, after the buds that appear in the pot when fully ripe.
The result? Stunningly beautiful buds that reach up to 2 inches in height and are highly resistant to mold and disease. Each bud will display four startups which are individually encased in a dehulled shell. All Sour Power buds will contain a highly potent hybrid blend of satvum and Cayenne. This allows the plants to make a delicious Thai-style tea with a full-bodied, earthy taste. A high energy high.

Because it’s such a cross between the Tung and Sour, it’s also easy to distinguish from the traditional varieties. Most people confuse the Tung with the Sour because the leaves look so similar. However, the leaves of the Tung have a white stripe down the center. And, the flowers are completely round rather thaniflower shaped like the Sour. It is very hard to tell the difference between the two.
