They will keep that card until the time for another round comes around.
The second way to play Bananabucket involves using the “Banana” and “Bunz” words that come directly to you. These words will not be revealed until you have played them. Then, they are placed on the table and the player must use the corresponding space on the table to place their hand onto. At that point, it is time to reveal the words and any new words that you want to play.
The last way to play Bananabucket involves a special rule. When a player has gotten a card with a specific word written on it to their hand, that player can immediately play the card. However, that player must hide the word that is written on the card before they reveal it. They must do this before the playing time for that round begins or else they will have to wait until after the playing time for that round has past. Then, the player can make any new words that they want.
Of course, in order to make new words, you must first remove words from the vocabulary deck that are already in use. This is where the creativity comes into play. You can do a search through any English newcomer’s dictionary to find some words that might sound interesting. Once you have found a few ideas, you can then make up your own words that will sound good when played. For example, there is a word for apple which might sound good if you substitute “apples” for “holiday tree.” There are many creative ways to come up with new words.
