The controls are not as difficult as some other games in the series, so even a child can play this game, and it’s easy enough for them to pick up.
The speed and actions of the character are a bit different when you complete a stage. The Bubba will slow down so that he can get a better view of what is going on, and he will shoot out little bullets. These little bullets will kill a lot of the bad guys, and help you make your way through the water. When you finally reach the end of the level, you will see a message stating that you have successfully completed the first hurdle of the level.
The controls work differently depending on which platform you are playing the game on. Some versions allow for more than one player, and some do not. For the most part though, the controls are very similar on all versions of the game. In the first few levels you may run into a couple of obstacles that you will have to beat before you can proceed to the next level. After you beat the first couple of hurdles you will be able to fly through the water with Bubba.
In the second level you again must beat a couple of hurdles in order to continue. When you finally reach the end of the water you will find yourself standing on land again, and find a machine at the bottom that can propel you into the air again. This time Bubba will be pushed back, and he has to find another way to get to the ground. Once you complete this first section you will be able to play all of the other episodes of the game without any worries about getting stuck.
