Limited Edition Seeds are very much in demand and they can be found everywhere. If you have not yet planted any feminized or restricted edition seeds, there is no need to be worried as you can do so without any problem. These feminized or restricted edition seeds can be easily sown at home after you get the instructions from the retailers. So, here are some pointers for those who would like to go in for limited edition seeds:
– The Limited Editions should be sown at the correct temperature so that they become productive specimens. This can be achieved by ensuring that the temperature of the greenhouse is increased to 45 degrees Celsius during the night. During this time the females take up nectar and the pollen is transferred to the pollen tubes through the wind. The male flowers do not have access to nectar during night time and so they do not bloom during that time.
– You should ensure that you do not provide the nutrients and water to the plants which will stunt their growth or stunt their life span. In order to achieve good results the limited edition seeds should be sown at the right time. You should avoid spraying the plants when the weather is warmer as the flowers will be dormant and hence not bloom. In case the female plants flower during the spring, you should give them adequate amount of water and nutrients and make sure that they are not sprayed with pollenicide or herbicide as the pollen from these plants will pollute the air and the garden soil.
– You should ensure that you plant the seeds at the right place. The best place to plant the orange flowers is at the base of a tree close to the drip point of the mother plant. The best place to plant the x red sonja and x orange f2 dominant seeds is at the side of the blossom. You should make sure that you do not plant the seeds at the side of the tree trunk as it will not be bearing fruit and will not produce flowers.
– You should ensure that you fertilize the feminized seeds (female plants) with the commercial fertilizers which are specifically made for flowering aprox. You should also ensure that you give them extra attention while harvesting the flowers as the aprox is very important for the proper production of quality crops. The harvest should be done after the flowering period has ended so that there are no issues related to the production of productive specimens. If the plants are not produced, then it will be impossible to get them to market.
– It is highly recommended to harvest the feminized seeds (female plants) before the flowers open. This is because there are chances that the pollen may get mixed with the flowers and result in the hybridization of these plants resulting in the formation of new varieties. If this happens, then the new varieties will have a cross-formation of the pollen of the cross-formation and this could result in the creation of entirely new kinds of crops. It is also not advisable to harvest the buds while they are flowering as it will result in the cross-formation of the pollen of the original plant and the feminized plants which could result in the creation of new varieties of crops. The best time to harvest is during the night as the high temperature does not reach the temperatures at night.
– It is not necessary to completely eliminate the flowers from the bed while growing the feminized seeds (female plants). You can leave some of the buds intact as the buds will provide the garden with an intense aroma during the growing season. While growing the feminized arops ensure that you transplant the seeds from slightly deeper as compared to the rest of the garden. This will result in a better yield of quality seeds and an intense aromatic smell. While transplanting the feminized arops ensure that you do not puncture the skin or the leaf tissue. This will result in a better aroma and quality crop.
– It is always beneficial to plant the feminized seeds (female plants) early in the season. This is because the compact buds tend to bear the most intense aroma in comparison to the other arops during the evening. Take care to ensure that you plant the compact buds deep within the ground. Take care to ensure that you have provided adequate compensation for the deep burial provided by the compact buds. This will result in a better harvest of resins throughout the season.
