What You Need to Know About Regular Marijuana Seeds
Have you ever heard about regular marijuana seeds? Many have, but not many people know much more than that. Marijuana is one of the most widely used drugs in the world, and it is also one of the most dangerous. When you smoke pot or potently smoke tobacco, you’re smoking flowers off a female cannabis plant. When these flowers are packed with seeds in them, it indicates that only a male plant was in existence amongst the females at the flowering phase.
Male plants produce lower amounts of terpenes, oils, and buds when compared to females. But they do far better when it comes to growing and producing potent, concentrated, mind-altering drugs. The same is true of regular marijuana seeds, which only produce weak marijuana. In fact, marijuana plants rarely flower at all. When it does, it’s usually a very short blooming variety, like the Pinellas, or something similar.
That’s because, even though females do make the best growers, the best marijuana plants are male cannabis plants. With regular marijuana seeds, a lot of the feminization is lost. It becomes much easier for a female plant to develop a weed seed, then it becomes harder for her to produce any weed seeds at all. It may still be possible to get feminized weed seeds, but that depends on how far along the plant has progressed.
There is, however, a way to get feminized marijuana seeds without any of that. A breeder can create the kinds of strains that are used in Europe. These strains of marijuana are often highly potent and have a strong Cologne to them. Many have used this method to get feminized seeds before, but it has not been popularized in the United States. Still, some farmers continue to use this method, because it is highly effective, especially with the Durban Poison strain.
The auto flower seeds used in Europe are used primarily as feminine flowers, although they will grow into regular marijuana, too. They are also used as an aphrodisiac. Since the pollen from this strain of autoflower can be used for sexual purposes, farmers are able to sell the pollen in markets around the world, or collect it to use as a natural aphrodisiac.
Autoflower seeds are all cuttings, so they are a hybrid between a regular marijuana seed and one that being female. The result is a new plant with the female characteristics. It may still have some regular marijuana seeds in it, but they will be small and delicate. It is not likely, though, that any of the feminized seeds will have marijuana in them when they sprout; they would be too small and delicate.
Feminized seeds are not the only way to create feminized cannabis plants. Male cannabis plants can also be feminized. Since male plants grow much taller than females and tend to have deeper roots, they can be feminized by cutting their taproots short. This makes the plant appear to have female characteristics, even though it is a male plant. This process is called cross-breeding, and it produces cross-effects that are helpful in making feminized cannabis plants.
Before buying marijuana seeds, make sure that you are buying authentic feminized cannabis seeds. Many of the “regular” seeds on the market are actually cross-bred with other strains, which can create undesirable characteristics for your plant. Some of the popular cross-breeds are: African Agave, Cheese Yeast, Hawaiian Papaya, Jamaican Blueberry and Lemon Herb. To buy regular seeds, simply visit a local grow shop in your area, or search online. Buy from a reputable retailer. Make sure that the package is from a reliable source, as the potency of some feminized cannabis seeds can vary greatly.
